Iceland Trip 2017

Iceland has been on our bucket list for quite some time now. We think our obsession first started when we first saw The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Since then we’ve been dying to make our own trip, and we finally have! We hired a car, booked some AirBnB’s, and spent six days racking up over 2000KM’s going from place to place. To summarize it briefly, this country is gorgeous. Everywhere you go there is something new to discover, from hot springs and lava fields to snow capped peaks and mountain passes. We spent the majority of our time in the south of the island, hitting the regular tourist spots such as the impressive Skogafoss and the beautiful glacial lake of Jokulsarlon. We even saw seals swimming amongst the icebergs. It was literally the most adorable thing ever.

 

If you’ve got an itch to go on an adventure, we can think of no better place to go than Iceland. You might even catch the Northern Lights if you’re lucky, or like us, you might get fog every single day. Either way, it is well worth a visit, and if you don’t believe us, just check out the photos!
