Palm Springs Photography Meetup

We’re really bad at blogging, which explains why this post is about 3 months late, but either way we still wrote it!

Back in February we flew out to California for a weekend to meet up with a few of our photography friends from all across the US + Canada to spend some time traveling and hanging out. Neither of us have ever been out that way, so going to the west coast was a totally new adventure for us. On our first day we travelled round Palm Springs, made our way out to Salvation Mountain (which is the coolest yet weirdest thing in the middle of a desert), hung out in the abandoned town of Bombay Beach in a rusty drive-in movie theatre until the sun went down before hitting up a hot-tub.

Day two consisted of an awesome styled shoot in Yucca Valley at The Ruins Venue which was organized by the amazing Kyndall Elliott. We’ll write another blog post just about this soon so keep any eye out for it!
